Rainbows are beautiful meteorological phenomena that result from the refraction, dispersion, and reflection of sunlight in water droplets, creating a spectrum of colors in the sky. The typical order of colors in a rainbow is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet (ROYGBIV).
